PPA PADELPRO ACADEMY LTD is a Cypriot company and has been set up in order to establish a number of Clubs all over Cyprus to cater for the sport of PADEL. Currently the shareholders have committed funds to this venture and the company has no debt. The shareholders of the company are all Cypriot businesspeople, established in their fields and share a vision is to create a business through promoting the sport for the benefit of society and especially the youth.
PPA PADELPRO ACADEMY LTD has worked over the last 2 years researching the sports market and in particular the Padel market in Europe and Cyprus. It has looked at the penetration of tennis and other related sports and has used the research to estimate the utilization that would be possible in a specific market given the characteristics of the area and the growth of the sport in the country.
The company has already opened the first Padel specialist store in Cyprus in Nikis Avenue and has obtained exclusive rights to distribute Padel clothing and gear from the world’s biggest retailer which is called “Padel Nuestro” (padelnuestro.com). Additionally, we have a new partnership with “Endless” (endlessport.com) as official distributors in Cyprus, offering premium gear and high-quality clothing for Padel & Fitness.
The company has also an agreement with one of the world leading Court manufacturer, Portico Sports (currently the official provider of courts to the Spanish Padel Federation and the Hexagon Cup) to ensure all courts built in its club are fit for international tournament with the most advanced lighting and quality turf.
Agreements are also made with coaches and professional players so that the concept of the establishment will be more of a well-run academy and professional center which will attract young people to join and compete as part of the club’s team in a future Federated environment in Cyprus. For the first time in history a player in the top 20 worldwide will be sponsored by the company and be an ambassador to the venture.
The investment that the company has made at its first site, Kentro Polis, are with the view of making the location a great location where one can enjoy playing and participating in events as well as simply visiting, having a coffee/snack and watching creating a fresh, fun and sustainable environment for the whole area promoting sports and wellness.
